While the people who spend time exercising for 300 minutes a week have a 20 percent lower risk of developing coronary heart disease than those who did not exercise . At the level of activity is higher, then the risk will be lower too .

Researchers say , the benefits of exercise may be more pronounced in women , compared to men , although it can not explain why it could happen . Maybe the cause is because women have a lower level of risk of coronary heart disease than men .

Previous studies have shown , there is a reduced risk of 20-30 percent of a person suffering from coronary heart disease with physical activity . However, it is unknown how much exercise is needed to reduce the risk becomes much lower .
